The Culture of Science Honors recognize contributions to Africa’s scientific ecosystem beyond narrow disciplinary boundaries. Excellence is understood not only as discovery, but as institution building, responsible innovation, knowledge translation, and the earning of public trust

Science Action Agenda — Contributions Window Opens

The submission window for institutional contributions and recommendations to the Culture of Science Action Agenda (2026–2028) opens in August. Governments, research institutions, funders, and advocates are invited to table priority commitments, proposed reforms, financing signals, and accountability pathways. Submissions feed directly into the structured negotiation session on Day 3, where cross-track participants co-author the live document ahead of the formal signing ceremony.

Culture of Science Conference

Three days of plenary, parallel tracks, and four engagement zones. Structured from financing through innovation to public trust, culminating in the signing of the Culture of Science Action Agenda (2026–2028).
